At the traffic lights at the end of the
bridge, turn left and carry on straight through Langaron. After passing
over a mini-roundabout with The Intermarche on the right hand side,
continue up the road for another half a kilometre, pass the right hand
turning to Capian. 50 yards further up the road turn right at the
agricultural garage on the D239 towards Haux. Chateaux La Gorce is half
a mile on the right opposite the entrance for Ballarin Wine.
Château
Services and Assistance
Within the Château Grounds there
is an Estate Manager, who is available to help you
during your stay. He is available to the answer the majority of your
questions, whether it be about the area, places of interest, things to
do, travel information to local attractions plus information on tours,
wine tasting and much more.
He can also offer additional services to
make your stay a pleasurable and leisurely one, maximising your
relaxation time.
Why worry about who is to cook and who shall
chauffeur the party to a restaurant when the Estate Manager can arrange
a chef and/or transport for the evening. Or if it suits your particular
arrangements, we can provide petit dejeuner (breakfast).
It is possible for the Estate Manager to
give you additional information and costs regarding any additional
cleaning, organising tours of local attractions, transport
arrangements, wine chateaux, wine schools, cheese farms, boat trips on
the Dordogne, tours of Bordeaux.
For an extra local charge, the following can
easily be arranged for your further convenience:
- maid service
- extra sheets/towels
- chef drop off services
- fully served gourmet meals
